CASE STUDY: Improving Patient Outcomes with Microbiome-Focused Skincare
Esse Aesthetics, together with L'Moor, believes that enhancing the skin's natural barrier function and microbiome can significantly improve the results of minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. Our Pre-Care Oil and Activator and Post-Care Oil and Activator are designed to support skin health, reduce post-procedure side effects like redness, irritation, scarring and hyperpigmentation, and promote faster recovery.
We invite medical spas performing minimally invasive procedures, particularly fractional laser treatments, to apply for this exclusive case study. Your participation will help demonstrate the effectiveness of microbiome-friendly products in improving treatment outcomes, while providing valuable data for future clinical applications.
Enrollment Criteria
To be considered for this case study, your practice must meet the following criteria:
TREATMENT OFFERINGS:
- Perform minimally invasive procedures, with a focus on fractional laser, microneedling, or similar treatments that can cause secondary side effects such as redness, inflammation, scarring, or PIH.
PATIENT SELECTION:
- Treat one patient for the case study, documenting before and after results with photos and clinical assessments.
DATA COLLECTION & SUBMISSION:
- Provide thorough skin analysis reports before, during, and after treatment.
- Submit progress photos of the treated area.
- Complete a final case study report documenting the results, including side effects, healing progress, and patient feedback.
ADHERENCE TO PRE/POST-TREATMENT PROTOCOLS:
- Use Esse’s Pre-Care Oil and Activator for 2 weeks prior to the procedure.
- Use Esse’s Post-Care Oil and Activator for 48-72 hours to 2 weeks after the procedure.
- Follow our Pre/Post Treatment Instructions, which will be provided upon selection.
